Download / view PDF

Keywords: Green Logistics; Sustainability; Transportation; Packaging; and Performance.

Abstract
Green logistics has been a concern worldwide, as it promotes environmental and business sustainability. The logistics industry consumes a remarkable number of natural resources and generates tremendous amounts of waste. Green logistics is essential for tackling environmental challenges. This study examined the impact of green logistics practices on company performance, with a focus on green transportation, packaging, and warehousing. Using a positivist philosophy and quantitative approach, data were collected from 50 respondents at Beverage Company through stratified random sampling and questionnaires. Data analysis utilized descriptive and correlation analyses with IBM SPSS version 27. Results showed positive impacts from all three practices: transportation (r = 0.525, p < 0.001) increases operational efficiency and reduces costs; packaging (r = 0.412, p = 0.001) improves performance via cost savings and environmental reputation; warehousing (r = 0.570, p < 0.001) emphasizes energy-efficient storage and waste reduction. Findings suggest green logistics enhances company performance, leading to cost savings, improved competitiveness, and sustainability. Green logistics practices should be encouraged by a company to enhance operational efficiency to improve company performance. Policymakers should encourage sustainable practices, develop effective regulatory frameworks, and raise public awareness to drive compliance and consumer demand for environmentally friendly products and services
